What is Brello?

Brello is an AI agent for the Mac, made by Stuvio. You type one sentence and Brello does the work on your Mac, from filing documents to an expense report and its email draft, with Undo, using Apple’s on-device model.

Brello in one paragraph

Brello is an AI agent for the Mac, made by Stuvio. You type one sentence, such as “make an expense report from my September receipts and email it to Accounts”, and Brello does the work on your Mac: it finds and files your documents, writes the report, drafts the email, changes several settings at once, and shows your Mac’s health, and Undo puts back what it changed. It thinks with Apple’s on-device model, so your files stay on your Mac. It runs on macOS 14 or later; the agent needs a Mac with Apple silicon, macOS 27 and Apple Intelligence. It costs $20 at launch, then $50, one time, for up to 3 Macs.

What Brello does

  • One sentence, finished work. “Make an expense report from my September receipts and email it to Accounts” reads the receipts, writes a PDF that Brello reads back and checks, and drafts the email with it attached, for you to send. “Put all my 2025 invoices in one folder, zip it and draft an email to my accountant with it attached” does four jobs in one go.
  • Several settings at once. “Get my Mac ready for a presentation: hide the Dock, mute it and keep it awake for 2 hours” makes three changes, checks each with macOS, and puts them all back with one Undo.
  • Home and your files. Every file on your Mac by kind, with counts and sizes, found by what you remember, such as “the contract I signed in March”.
  • Mac Health. The processor, memory pressure, disk and heat, live and in plain words, what’s keeping the Mac awake, and Balance the load, which moves your own background work to the efficiency cores in one click.
  • Clean up. Big old videos, forgotten downloads, old installers, old screenshots and duplicates, listed by name and size. Nothing is deleted until you say yes to a list that names every file; then it goes to the Trash.
  • Routines. Work on a schedule or when a file lands, set in your words: “When a PDF lands in Downloads, file it into Finance by month.”
  • The popup. Option-Space from any app to ask, or to find a file as you type.
  • Undo. Every change Brello makes can be put back with one click; emptying the Trash, the one thing that can’t, is asked first.

Privacy

  • Brello’s agent thinks with Apple’s on-device model, on your Mac. Your files are read on your Mac and never sent to an AI service.
  • There is no account, and the site and app carry no analytics or advertising.
  • A request goes online only when it needs something from outside, such as a place on Apple Maps or a Wikipedia article. Brello asks once before the first one, and only the words you typed leave.
  • Every request that leaves the Mac is written to Brello’s Privacy page before it’s sent; if it can’t be written, it isn’t sent.
  • Deleting, sending and going online are decided by Brello’s own code, which asks first. A routine running with nobody at the Mac never deletes, sends or goes online.

What Brello is not

  • Not a chatbot for long writing, research or code. Brello drafts emails and notes; for long research or programming, a chat app such as ChatGPT or Claude is the better tool. See Brello and ChatGPT.
  • Not a system-junk cleaner. Brello measures caches and lists your own files that are safe to delete; it doesn’t clear system junk or scan for malware. See Brello and CleanMyMac.
  • Not a launcher. It has no clipboard history, snippets or window management. See Brello and Raycast.
  • Not made by Apple. Brello is made by Stuvio and uses Apple’s on-device model.

Questions

Is Brello a chatbot?

No. Brello is an agent: it works on your Mac. It finds your files, measures your disk, reads your Mac’s health and changes settings, and the agent turns a sentence into finished work, such as a report from receipts or a tidy Desktop.

Which AI model does Brello use?

Apple’s on-device model, the one built into macOS 27 with Apple Intelligence. It runs on your Mac. Much of what Brello does is decided by its own code before any model is asked.

Does Brello work on Intel Macs?

Yes. Runs on macOS 14 or later, on Apple silicon and Intel. On an Intel Mac, Home, search, Health, Clean up and Quick Search work, and the Agent page says exactly what the agent needs.

Is Brello a subscription?

No. Brello is $20 at launch, then $50, paid once, for up to 3 Macs, with 30-day refunds, no reason needed.

Does Brello send my files anywhere?

No. Your files are read on your Mac. A request goes online only when it needs something from outside, such as a place on Apple Maps or a Wikipedia article; Brello asks once before the first one, only the words you typed leave, and every request is listed on its Privacy page.

Is Brello made by Apple?

No. Brello is made by Stuvio. It uses Apple’s on-device model, built into macOS.

Brello finished “Make an expense report from my September receipts and email it to Accounts”, 3 receipts, $161.15 in all, the report written to Documents, read back and checked, and a draft to Accounts with it attached, not sent, with Undo
One sentence in Brello on a sample Mac: a checked report, and an email draft for you to send.
